Judy Downer Named Newest USDF L Program Faculty Member
Lexington, KY (December 13, 2023) - The United States Dressage Federation™ (USDF) is pleased to announce that United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) ‘S’ Dressage judge Judy Downer has been approved as the newest member of the USDF L Program Faculty.
“Having successfully completed the extensive L Faculty Apprentice Program, Judy Downer will now join the existing list of USDF L Program Faculty, and we feel she will be a great addition to the group,” states Lois Yukins, Chair of the USDF’s L Program Committee.
Judy’s vast experience in developing education programs at a college level along with her many years of experience as a dressage judge, trainer, and rider, make her an invaluable asset to the faculty and the program. Judy has earned her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Freestyle Bars and her Diamond Achievement award.
With all of her accomplishments and experience, she is sure to flourish in her new role as a faculty member and bring a wealth of knowledge to the USDF L Education Program Faculty who are responsible for furthering the program’s objectives in preparing candidates to enter the USEF ‘r’ Judges Training Program, qualifying individuals to judge schooling shows, and giving competitors, trainers, and instructors greater insight into the evaluative process of judging dressage.
